The cruise officially begins on November 14, 2026. I recommend flying to Europe to ensure you arrive no later than November 13, 2026.
I suggest you fly into one of two cities: Munich or Prague.

Explore Prague’s charming cobblestone streets, historic castles, and iconic bridges while enjoying vibrant culture, Gothic and Baroque architecture, and the timeless beauty of the Czech capital.
Cost: $975 per person, double occupancy

This is a friendly but important reminder to please arrive in Europe no later than November 13, 2026. This allows a cushion of time in case of any flight delays or unexpected travel disruptions. Building in this extra day can make a huge difference in ensuring a smooth and stress-free start to your trip.
If you are arriving for just one night, I recommend staying in Munich, as it is closer to the embarkation port.
I have several great hotel options I’d be happy to recommend—just let me know if you’d like me to send over my picks.
Hotel rates are approximately €400 per night, depending on availability.
We are flying from Little Rock to Munich on November 11, 2026, arriving November 12, 2026.
November 12th - Check in the Hotel and Explore Old Town Munich
November 13th - Day Trip to Explore Neuschwanstein Castle
November 14th - Check out of the Hotel, Explore Dachau and then Embark on the AmaMora in Vilshofen
We will stay at one of the best and most traditional hotels in Munich city centre, the 4* Platzl Hotel is a short walk from Marienplatz, the Residenz Palace, the Bavarian State Opera and many other city highlights.
Cost: 790 to 938 EUROS for 2 nights, 2 people. Cost will depend on room type and inclusions.
Neuschwanstein Castle is a 19th-century fairy-tale palace perched in the Bavarian Alps of southern Germany, near the town of Füssen. It was commissioned by King Ludwig II of Bavaria and built more as a romantic fantasy than a practical royal residence. Its dramatic towers and cliffside setting famously inspired Disney’s Sleeping Beauty Castle—and by extension, the iconic Disney castle logo.
It is about an hour and 45 minutes from Munich by car or bus and 2 hours by train. The plan as of now is to take the train to Fussen Station then tour the Castle.
Cost is expected to be around $130 per person.
We will travel between Munich and Vilshofen with a private driver for a stress-free, door-to-door experience, luggage assistance, and a private transfer exclusively for our group. We will also stop at the Dachau Concentration Camp for 2 hours. (This will likely be a very emotional stop so if you would prefer to stop elsewhere, please let me know and we can make arrangements to stop and enjoy Trausnitz Castle for your group instead.)
Cost will be between $100 and $277 per person, depending on our group size.
If you’d like my opinion on flight options—such as the best routes or ideal arrival and departure times—or if you feel nervous booking your flight on your own, please let me know. I’m happy to offer a quick “Yep, that flight looks good!” or, if you prefer, I can get on my computer while you’re on yours and walk you through the booking process step by step.
Once your flights are booked, please email the details to me. If you’ve purchased travel insurance through me, I will then amend your policy to include flight coverage for your trip.
As a reminder, everyone should have their flights purchased no later than 4–6 months prior to travel.
